What is a Switched Reluctance Motor?
Switched reluctance motor is a type of speed-regulating motor developed after DC motor and brushless DC motor. Product power levels range from several watts to hundreds of kilowatts, and are widely used in household appliances, aviation, aerospace, electronics, machinery, and electric vehicles. The switched reluctance motor (SRM) used in the switched reluctance motor speed control system is the part that realizes the electromechanical energy conversion in the SRD, and it is also the main sign that SRD is different from other motor drive systems.
